PATH Intl. Education Partner
The PATH Intl. Education Partners program is geared towards organizations, institutions or businesses that provide a multitude of educational offerings that support those in the equine-assisted services industry.
The annual fee includes recognition of the quality of education and training the organization offers. All educational offerings from the education partner are eligible for PATH Intl. CEU approval. A detailed description of each educational item must be submitted for review for assignment of CEU designation and number of hours. One clock hour equals one CEU credit.

- One announcement when the partnership is signed via PATH Intl. eNews and on social media
- Partner has the ability to post educational content on Member Connection, PATH Intl.’s exclusive members only platform.
- Ability to use PATH Intl. Education Partner logo in your marketing materials.
- Listing in PATH Intl. Strides magazine, the award winning equine-assisted services publication produced by PATH Intl., and one 1/6-page ad in Strides per year if provided by the education partner
- CEU approvals are valid for two years.

- PATH Intl. members receive a member discount on the partner’s courses and educational offerings.
Benefit to PATH Intl. from the Education Partner
- Ability to advertise PATH Intl. educational events, conferences and/or membership to their customer base providing more diverse educational opportunities
Purchase of Partnership:
- Complete application for education partnership.
- If approved, pay applicable amount.
- Subscription given upon approval and payment.
- Education offering reviewed by PATH Intl. staff to confirm CEU categories.
- Education partner will be sent reminders to renew annually.
How the education is assessed:
Educational content is reviewed by an impartial panel of applicable subject matter experts from the PATH Intl. Health and Education Committee.

PATH Intl. CEU Preapproval for Educational Offerings
The PATH Intl. CEU preapproval program is intended for education providers that offer basic education related to equine-assisted services, disability education or continuing instructor education and wish to submit one or more courses or activities for PATH Intl. CEU preapproval. Several examples of education providers are individuals or organizations who offer education targeting PATH Intl. membership and certified professionals or PATH Intl. centers providing educational presentations for their instructors’ CEUs.
CEU Preapproval Fees
- PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center CEU Preapproval Fee: $20 per CEU.
- PATH Intl. Center Member and All Individual Member Levels Preapproval CEU Fee: $30 per CEU.
- Non-member CEU Preapproval Fee: $40 per CEU.
CEU fees are calculated per CEU, 1 hour of education = 1 CEU. For example, a 3 hour course taught by a non-member would equal 3 CEU’s and cost the non-member $120 to earn the pre-approval, valid for a two year period. For a PATH Intl. PAC offering a 2 hour course that would equal 2 CEU’s, it would cost the PAC $40 for the pre-approval, valid for a two year period.

CEU Preapproval Requirements
As part of the CEU Preapproval program, the education provider agrees to provide PATH Intl. individual members a discount to the provider’s approved education offering.
For multiple course or activity offerings, EACH course you are seeking preapproval for must be purchased separately.

Ensuring Excellence and Changing Lives.®, and the PATH Intl. logos are PATH Intl. registered trademarks and may not be used without PATH Intl. permission. PATH Intl.® intellectual assets, including the registered association name and logo will be protected at all times. Only sponsors at designated levels will be permitted to use the PATH Intl. name or logo for any commercial purpose or in connection with the promotion of any product or service. CEU preapproval does not authorize the requestor to use PATH Intl. trademarked material.
Purchase and Maintenance of CEU Preapproval:
- Purchase preapproval application, fill out form online.
- PATH Intl. staff confirms CEU categories and quantity. The education provider is invoiced/charged for the total number of CEU’s approved.
- Preapproval request forms will not be considered until payment is received in full.
- Upon approval you will be notified via email of the number of hours and CEU categories that apply to your course or activity so that you may provide that information in your course marketing and registration materials.
The CEU approval is valid for a two-year period. The provider will receive a renewal reminder from PATH Intl. before the two years ends.

What is the difference between CEU preapproval and an education partner?
PATH Intl. Education Partners offer a higher volume of educational programming on an annual basis than those in the PATH Intl. CEU preapproval program. The benefits are uniquely tailored to support each level of educational involvement.
As a PATH Intl. Education Partner, how do I submit educational offerings for CEU approval?
PATH Intl. Education Partners can submit offerings for CEU and hour designation by submitting one PATH Intl. Education Partner CEU Preapproval of Educational Course/Activity form per educational offering. Educational offerings can be submitted at any time, not just when the application is submitted or when renewed.
As a PATH Intl. Education Partner, can I assign CEU hours and PATH Intl. CEU designations without PATH Intl.’s approval for each course?
No, only courses, offerings or activities submitted to PATH Intl. for approval can list that they provide specified PATH Intl. CEU designations and number of hours.
As a PATH Intl. Education Partner, can I use the PATH Intl. logo?
As per the PATH Intl. Brand Guidelines, the PATH Intl. logo is for corporate use only. PATH Intl. Education Partners may only utilize the education partner logo.
Can I use the PATH Intl. Education Partner logo or PATH Intl. logo if my CEU’s are preapproved?
As per the PATH Intl. Brand Guidelines, the PATH Intl. logo is for corporate use only and the PATH Intl. Education Partner logo is for approved education partners use only. No logo use is available for CEU preapproval program participants.
I offer education related to equine-assisted services, can I market that my education is approved for PATH Intl. CEU’s without submitting it for preapproval or being an education partner?
No, only those organizations or individuals who have submitted their education for preapproval may market that they are accepted as PATH Intl. CEU’s.
