Let us help inspire your desire for growth. Take the opportunity to engage with professionals across the globe, learn how to apply practical skills and get answers to your pressing questions. Winter courses offer big benefits for just a brief commitment of time.

Living in a sparsely populated rural area, I really appreciate that PATH is now providing meaningful CEU opportunities online. Our short summers are super busy and driving long distances in winter is often not practical to access the few educational opportunities that qualify for CEUs. I appreciate also the quality and inclusion of different demographic populations in these materials is also improving and more in balance with today's changing world. –PATH Intl. Michele Kane, Major, USMC (retired) holds PATH Intl. Therapeutic Riding Instructor and ESMHL certifications and is a member of the PATH International Equine Services for Heroes® Committee. Major Kane retired from the Marine Corps in 2011 and moved from North Carolina to Fort Collins, CO, in order to attend Colorado State University's (CSU) Equine Sciences program. During that time, she also completed her Master's Degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling (LPC). She first learned about equine-assisted activities and therapeutic riding while at CSU and decided to eagerly pursue her PATH Intl. Therapeutic Riding Instructor certification. Certified in 2013, Michele was quickly hired by Hearts & Horses Inc., a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center in Loveland, CO, to teach veterans part time. She worked for the Veterans Administration in Fort Collins as Veteran's Outreach Coordinator until she was hired by Hearts & Horses as a full-time instructor, and Veteran's Program Coordinator, in January 2015. She has since been promoted to program director.

After February, the Instructor Training for PATH International Equine Services for Heroes® Online Course will not be offered again until April. Take the time now to earn 12 CEUs and learn from an industry leader!

I really enjoyed this course as it helped me to better understand the challenges of developing a veterans program, and the unique differences of working with this population. It pushed me to further research topics that were introduced in the class, and I now feel very prepared to launch a program with the proper infrastructure and knowledge in place! Great course! – Instructor Training for PATH International Equine Services for Heroes® Online Course participant
