The above are your Region 1 contacts who are available to provide information about PATH Intl., AHA, EFMHA and equine-assisted activities and therapies, answer questions, address concerns and provide overall general information to those of you who reside/work in their respective states.
We also have an organization within the region known as NESAR, Inc. (New England Special Activities Resources), which many of you may have heard of but may not understand its purpose. NESAR, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that was established within the region in 1990 to help facilitate the delivery of services to people with special needs. NESAR continues to fulfill this mission today. This organization complements our PATH Intl. Region structure, providing us with additional opportunities for communication and working together as a region. The NESAR, Inc. Board is made up of a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer (the officers) and the PATH Intl. State Chairpersons (the directors). The PATH Intl. Region 1 Rep has also held the position of NESAR President to provide continuity and consistency to the region.
