New Hampshire News

It’s the beginning of February and there is more dirt and grass showing than snow. Totally bizarre. Although the temperature has been up and down, it’s been nice to teach in the indoor without freezing too badly.

Horse Power has started a new program for our volunteers through the winter months. It’s called Horsemanship for Volunteers. They learn better horse handling, horse body language, how to “talk” to the horse and some horses get to learn better ground manners. It happens twice a week and has proven to be quite successful for all.

Horse Power’s ATC School will be starting for Spring on March 7th. If interested, please call Sddita at (603) 654-6308.

It is now time to start looking for the next up and coming NH State Chair, starting January 2012.  If you are interested, please send your resume to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  It’s a great opportunity to meet new members in the country and help our field grow.  NH is looking for YOU as the next Chair!

From our barn to yours, enjoy your Holidays, giving your equines an extra long pat this month, as they so well deserve it.
