New Hampshire Sate Chair
I live in Mason in the southern part of NH and am a registered PATH Intl. instructor as well as an MA-licensed instructor. I currently work in MA at Lovelane Special Needs Horseback Riding Program, where in addition to teaching riding lessons and unmounted barn groups, I am the assistant volunteer coordinator. I have previously worked at Horse Power and before that have 24 years of experience teaching pre-school and kindergarten. I look forward to visiting as many of the programs in NH that I can over the next few years, and also to meeting you all at upcoming NH state meetings.

Greetings to fellow New Hampshire PATH Intl. Members!
I am excited to introduce myself as your new PATH Intl. state representative. I am Kathy Wile, a registered level instructor, and recently completed the mentor training workshop at St Andrews University. I live in Mason, know many of you here in the southern part of the state, and look forward to getting to know many more of you – and your programs. I would love to be able to visit as many programs as I can to see what you all are doing, talk about how PATH can be most helpful to you, and hopefully build more communication between centers/members around the state. Invitations to visit are welcomed!
I will be at the Region 1 Conference April 19-20, and hope many of you can get there at least for a day. Saturday we will hold our state meeting, among the many other training options being offered. Please try to find me and introduce yourself. The conference offers many training hours in addition to being an opportunity to network with other people and see the range of programming PATH centers are offering. Would love to have as many as possible representing the Granite State!
This summer we will be holding our second annual state meeting/training of the year. We will once again be partnering with our neighbors to the west, and holding the NH/VT state meeting August 26th. This will be hosted by Kristin Mason, at her brand new facility and program Reining Hope in Morgan,Vermont. Save the date! Details will follow, and there is still time to get in on the planning if you would like. I would also love to hear from anyone that would like to host the state meeting in NH for summer of 2014 as well.
Hope to see you at Region One, and that the black flies are kind to us all,
2015 State Meeting
The Vermont/New Hampshire state meeting was on September 19th at Rhythm of the Rein in Marshfield, Vermont.
Wonderful presenters gave boundless information on breathing and stretching using yoga (Jamie Fields) and keeping fit as an instructor to better help clients (Lorna Young). It was a warm and sunny day and the exercise portion of the day was outside under a charming tree. Then we learned about all of the many people involved in coming together in a team approach to goal writing for clients and how goals help our clients in daily living outside of the riding arena (Dianne Lashoones). This was followed by an informative demonstration of driving, where all wishing to be given the opportunity to ground drive, got to hold the reins (Elizabeth Belote). The day concluded with a tour of the Rhythm of the Reins facility. It was a small but friendly gathering with lively talk and exchange of ideas. Next year’s meeting will be in New Hampshire with hopes of it being at the University of New Hampshire. We will keep you posted.
