Pegasus Therapeutic Riding, Inc., is seeking an experienced individual for the position of Equine Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated solid horsemanship skills, advanced level riding skills, and experience with both human and equine management, and must have knowledge of equine healthcare. The ideal candidate must also show strong organizational skills and have the ability to foster a cohesive team environment. Candidate must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Previous work experience at a PATH Intl. Center and/or in the field of equine-assisted activities is preferred.

The Equine Coordinator will work under the Equine Operations Manager's direction and will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the management of equine health, along with management of volunteers. Additional responsibilities include assistance in overseeing the daily maintenance of the facilities and coordinating activities between barn and program.

This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. Salary range is $30,000 to $35,000 depending on experience. This position is located at the main facility in Brewster, NY. The five (5) day work week includes one weekend day.

Doctor Franklin Perkins School Rein in a Dream Therapeutic Horsemanship Center is seeking to fill three positions to meet the needs of a growing program.

Rein in a Dream is a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center serving children and adults with a variety of special needs. The program specializes in working with individuals with mental health challenges, behavioral, and emotional issues, cognitive and developmental disabilities and mild to moderate physical challenges. The program is seeking to hire 1 or 2 instructors with at least 3 years’ experience working with a variety of special needs and ages. The candidate must be licensed by the state of Massachusetts, a PATH Intl. registered instructor preferable with strong background working with individuals with complex needs. Experience with conducting equine-assisted learning lessons is helpful but not required. The candidate must be available to work at least one week-end day. The program is seeking to fill approximately 25 hours of instructional time.

Part-time office assistant would be responsible for assisting the director in promoting, scheduling and maintaining the community-based horsemanship program. Assist with preparing for and attending community events to promote the program. Review, monitor and maintain accurate record keeping in compliance with Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.). Requires proficiency in Microsoft Suite, PowerPoint and Publisher, excellent organizational and communication skills. This is a 15 hour a week position.
