Part-Time Therapeutic Riding Instructor - MA

Doctor Franklin Perkins School, Rein in a Dream Therapeutic Horsemanship Center (RIAD) is seeking to hire a passionate energetic professional instructor that is interested in joining a growing program. RIAD is a premier accredited center serving children and adults with a variety of special needs. The program specializes in working with individuals with mental health challenges, behavioral, and emotional issues, cognitive and developmental disabilities and mild to moderate physical challenges.

Candidate must have a strong background working with individuals with special needs. At least 5 years’ of providing riding instruction, 3 years’ experience working with a variety of special needs and ages, licensed by the state of Massachusetts, preference to be a PATH Intl. registered instructor (willing to train the appropriate candidate.) Experience conducting mounted and un-mounted equine-assisted learning lessons. Strong equestrian stills to teach beginner to intermediate level. Advanced training in education, psychology, human services or physical disabilities beneficial to the position. The candidate must be available to work at least 25 hours with flexibility.
